Welcome to Immanuel Christian Reformed Church
We are so glad that you're here and we hope to meet you in-person soon. We understand that it's hard to know what to expect when you attend a new church service, so we have included some items below that we hope answers some immediate questions you might have. If you have further questions, click here and ask us!
When is your service?
Our English Service begins at 11:30am on Sundays.
What can I expect in the English Service?
Our style is a mix between modern (live band, relaxed clothing, etc.) while also holding on to traditional practices (reading of the Heidelberg catechism, a praise anthem from the choir and singing of hymns). We observe Holy Communion every first Sunday of the month. If you would like to listen to some of our latest sermons, click here.
Who is the pastor?
Our senior pastor is Rev. David Cheung and our English Pastor is Pastor Jason Truell. Learn more about both pastors here.
What do you have for my kids?
All children are encouraged to join the main service for singing and listening to the choir anthem. After that, they are dismissed to their Sunday School classes. The teachers at Immanuel take great care in providing high quality programming and ministry for children of all ages. We strive to create environments that are both safe and celebratory of the children's age and stage of life.
Our teachers and staff undergo background checks and regular training and equipping to ensure that the very best care is being provided for the children at all times. We love what we do and the children we get to work with! You can learn more about our children's ministry here.
How do I get involved?
There are many ways to get involved. Here are three of them:
1) Worship with us at the English Worship Service at 11:30am on Sundays.
2) Join a Small Group and get to know some great people. Find one that's right for you!
3) Attend a Fellowship Group on Friday nights.
